Randy Tomer, W6RA, shared some great information about contesting in ham radio along with several of his award certificates. There seemed to be some concurrence among a few Board members present that there could perhaps be some Club recognition to our highest scoring team and that this could be the start of many future contests and such within the club. As Randy explained, not all contests are HF frequencies. Many of his favorites were VHF. The idea here is to just have some fun while playing in a contest.
