Daytime conditions on 20 meters were good enough so I assume most of your contacts were made on 20.<div>Max beat me out on 20 when both of us were calling the same station at once. I made the contact after him. Late afternoon conditions on 40 were good but but not so good after sunset. I did work Brazil and the Cayman Islands on 40 after dark but they weren't easy. 80 meters was not very good this evening and things were difficult enough that I looked outside to make sure my antenna hadn't fallen down. It was ok, and I did manage to get a couple of "outstanding signal" comments.</div><div>My antenna is a 100' long center fed zepp up 60'. I never was able to get a good run going by calling cq, which was disappointing. A total of 129 contacts were made with 65 multipliers for a total score of 8,385 in 6 hours of op time. It was slow going. If you print out your summary sheet and save it you can use it for comparison with next summer's NAQP and next years contests. In next summer's contest 20 meters will be open almost twice as long and so will the numbers of contacts. To see how the Big Guns did, go to the 3830 Scores website and read their comments. Before the internet all the big gun operators would hang out on 3830 kHz and talk about whatever contest they just finished, hence the name on the web. Some of them will have scores of at least 100,000. It's much easier for the ops in the middle of the country to run a frequency than it is for us. Don't forget to upload your log to LoTW!</div><div><br></div><div>73, Randy</div></div>
