It would be nice for those that need materials to chip in on what they use, but it won't be more than 3 or 4 bucks. We will be able to easily build 2m, 1.25m, and 70cm ground plane antennas. I'm sure some other folks have connectors and wire they are bringing too, so there will be plenty of materials for those that don't have them. There was some talk of J-Pole and roll up slim jim antennas . I personally don't have any ladder lines for slim jims, or copper piping. Maybe someone can bring some extra ladder line they can part with. If you want a copper J-pole bring the necessary length of pipe, and we can help you get it cut and put together. There will of course be some extra materials, etc, but for the most part we will need to bring our own. Designs on antennas to follow over the following days. If you have a good design for a 220 antenna email me a pic of it, the characteristics that make it a desirable antenna, and a complete list of materials to build it, and I'll put in on the list. As many of you know, there are a handful of us that always monitor 223.5. There are some pretty good random ragchews as well. Also, there has been some interest in starting a once a month 220 net so now's the time to get that antenna built!! I also know that a lot of people have a tri-band HT and one of these inexpensive and highly functional ground-planes with a little stretch of coax and some elevation can turn that HT into a 220 base station....(I know because Bill helped me build one a few months ago, and that's what I did) Not to speak for Bill, but I'm pretty sure he still has one or two 220 loaner rigs available for use.<o:p></o:p></p><div><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'> <o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'>Bill N7RGB has offered up garage space, knowledge and knowhow.
