HIDARG through COCC community education is offering an
accelerated training class for folks wanting to get their ham radio license.
We do 4 scheduled class's a year.

One Full day study hall class. 8am to 4pm then testing from 4pm to 5:30
Note that the test does not normally take that long....Most folks finish in 30mins or less.

 You HAVE TO register with COCC to Attend this Ham Cram Class!
HiDARG is not in control of any reservations. 
After Registration you will also need to contact KF7MAX or KK7BTJ so that we can send you additional information.

IMPORTANT: There are seperate fees required for getting your FCC license.
TOTAL cost of getting your license.  $49 Class + $15 test + $35 FCC = $99
Each requires payments to seperate entities.

  CLASS FEE:  $49  COCC 
$49 for the Class at COCC, that includes the Technician Manual supplied by HiDARG
Be sure to get your FCC FRN number and bring that with you to the class.
The EXAM team will ask for that prior to giving you the test.

  EXAM FEE: $15  ARRL VE TEST MATERIALS 
Students will need to bring $15 CASH ONLY! for the test materials supplied by
the ARRL examiners. Please BRING cash with you on the day of the class.
NO Checks or Credit Cards Please!  
This is for the cost of test materials and taking the test, not the class.

  FCC FEE: $35 Call sign processing.  
The FCC has recently changed thier process and now charge for processing your ham radio call sign.
Once you pass the test the ARRL exam team compiles your info and sends that to the FCC.
It can take up to a week or more for the paper work to be proccessed. Once done the FCC will then
send a link via email to you. That will allow you to pay for your ham radio call sign.
The processing fee is $35 and your license is good for 10 years.
You will have 10 days to use the link. If you miss that window then

Note cancellations must be done via your email from COCC, HiDARG is not able to process those.
