Tom Sharp K7COW in Burns, OR has kindly offered a site to move our repeater to. Not only is it better protected, but we do not have to pay a yearly fee for rent. The site will have the same solar panel setup as Mt Stephenson. This site should be up and ready sometime early summer 2012.

This solar site is similar to what we will have in place. Tom uses this
setup to pump water for the cows on his ranch.

Just a view of the support structure of the panels.

The site is several hundred yards up the hill looking right over the 4 wheeler.

The line to Glass Butte from here is about a 1/4 way in from the right of the picture. The
tallest butte in the distance is where the current repeater sits.

After much checking and double checking we finally contacted Glass Butte and were able to determine
that this site would work out just great.

Mike in pickup, talking to Glass on the 443.xx link radio to glass and Tom in the 4 wheeler was able to
pick up the signal coming back from Glass on 147.200.
