[HiDARG-MEMBERS] Pine Mt Site is now the official property of HiDARG.

Charter Communications sent us the Quick Claim Deed to sign off on. 

That paper work was signed and turned back to them. And today they have
signed off their part and we now own the site.

With their final signature on the document and copies back to us, the Pine
Mt repeater site, tower, contents now officially belong to HiDARG.

 

Additionally as of several weeks ago the US Forest Service have approved the
lease for the ground the facility stands on.

Our yearly lease fee, which has already been paid for 2017 is just around
$117 per year.

This is the most exciting news as normal lease payments for such sites can
be in the thousands.

Thanks to all those folks involved that help kept this project alive and
moving forward.

 

Now we have some work to do and decisions to make.

As part of the agreement with the USFS, we will need to remove the two
microwave dishes on the site.

Per their policy, if not being used, they have to go away. 

 

Several options are up for consideration. And if you have experience of
knowledge that might help out please contact me.

Sell to someone that wants one, and help them remove and haul off.

Give to someone if they will remove it, with our direction of course.

Remove and turn in for recycle, (aluminum) (could be a few hundred dollars
at most.
