[HiDARG-MEMBERS] FYI: Baofeng/pofung radios $5.99 a pair.

I know a lot of local people have picked these various models up. Anyone
want to give their opinions on this model and its effectiveness? Don't get
me wrong...$5.99 for a paid, or $2.50 each is pretty much the equivalent of
a one-time-use cost, just for the battery alone, but it would also be nice
to have a radio that functions that second time and doesn't end on on the
island of misfit toys the day after it's powered on.
