[HiDARG-MEMBERS] FYI: Baofeng/pofung radios $5.99 a pair.

Asside from it being a cheap price for 1, let alone 2 radios, I noticed the detail description did not match the picture and title, and the customer reviews, while high score, were not about the radio and they were all copies of the previous review. Too many red flags for me to bite so will be waiting to see if anyone takes delivery.

I own the UV5R, $20 Amazon Prime, and bought it so I was familiar with what many new hams are now buying. It’s a good radio for loaning or for in your pocket when climbing a tower since you aren’t out much if something happens. I was able to program the frequencies pretty fast, by keypad entry, once I got used to how it’s done.

One caution....it WILL transmit outside the ham bands so be careful what you program into it.

Merry Christmas everyone.
