[HiDARG-MEMBERS] Technician Licensing Class - COCC Winter Term

We have a thumbs-up from COCC, and are tentatively slated to offer a
Technician Licensing class culminating in an exam session in the Winter
Term.  The class will be included in their Community Learning Catalog,
which is mailed to every household in the COCC Tax District (Tri-County
and northern Lake / Klamath Counties).  COCC will provide the classroom
venue.  Textbook will be the red ARRL Technician License Study Guide.

More details to follow as this develops.  My hope is that we will have
enough details to put together a flyer to hand out at the fair, post on
the website, and hand out at other upcoming events.

This is a potential game-changer, folks.  COCC is interested in
Technician classes for Winter 2017-2018 and Spring 2018 terms, and
having build pipeline interest to hold Technician in Fall 2018, General
in Winter 2018-2019, and Extra in Spring 2019.  Moreover, as interest
grows, we can involve other ham clubs and expand the offerings to be
held at regional COCC campuses throughout Central Oregon.

Don - we're going to need to do a touch up on the HIDARG brochures too.
I think we're going to need a lot of them.
