Wonderful idea! A person can come in at 8:30 in the morning and walk out at 5 p.m. with a ham license.

Subject: [HiDARG-MEMBERS] COCC Ham Class Update

The contracts have been executed and returned, and we are on schedule to
be included in the upcoming Winter Term catalog.  Registration opens 02
December and catalogs mail out to the public that same week.

We will be offering two independent sessions - 10 February and 24 March.

Max is thinking (and I agree) that given the open format of the
single-day syllabus, we can co-mingle Tech and General prospective
licensees, elmering each group as needed, and the VEs can administer the
corresponding test.

Students must be present all day in order to take the test at the end of
the day.  6 study periods of 45mins each, with 15min breaks after each one.

Preliminaries	8:30-9:00AM
Study Period 1	9:00-9:45AM
Study Period 2	10:00-10:45AM
Study Period 3	11:00-11:45AM
LUNCH	        11:45AM-1:00PM
Study Period 4	1:00-1:45PM
Study Period 5	2:00-2:45PM
Study Period 6	3:00-3:45PM
EXAM	        4:00PM

Max did the yeoman's work on the class format, so kudos go to him.
