[HiDARG-MEMBERS] Last Night's Meeting notes.

Great turnout.... 28 folks in attendance. 

Committee reports were presented.

Discussed the results of the Repeater Survey.

I will distribute a PDF of the current survey results.

 

A trip to John Day is planned to put up the new GP-9. 

That was scheduled for this AM, but due to conflicts in schedules on both
sides

we will attempt that project on Sat.

 

On other news, a Fusion DX2- repeater has been purchased and donated to
HiDARG.

Once we have it in hand, it will be setup for testing.

Meantime several members will be working to see how we can integrate it into
the HiDARG system.

 

KF7MAX gave a short presentation on SOTA Summits on the Air, A separate
email will be sent

that has the links on how to get started in that activity be it a summit
activator, chaser, or SWL.

Anyone wanting the PowerPoint file is welcome to it.

 

Will be finalizing the setup in the Trailer for Field Day.

Those wishing to do training on the radio need to contact me.

That will be done in the afternoon, evenings of next week, and weekend.

Nothing heavy or special... or lengthy, but just enough to help you get
familiar with the radios and their use.
