This email is for current HiDARG members only to weigh in on helping out the
ARRG folks.
Please email me direct to maxv at horizonps.com with your input.
Check out more information on their web site as to who they are and how
important their system is to the western
part of the state, and OUR area as well. I have been a supporter of their
organization for several years now, and
always buy lots of tickets for their raffle at SeaPac every year.. one year
I even won.
They are a 501c3 just like us, and their mission is similar to HiDARGS in
providing repeater services across the state.
The question to members is as follows.
1. Should HiDARG donate some funds to them to help them move forward?
If so what would be an ideal amount. Even a few bucks if need be.
2. Should HiDARG donate some of our hardline to them?
We have a new spool about 4ft across, I think we can spare 100ft or so.
It was donated to us, and I have always believed in pay it forward.
Please visit their site and learn about their system. There may be future
opportunities here for links and ties
from our system to theirs.
Also on the site anyone willing to help with a personnel donation, can use
their paypal link.
You can choose your own amount. Tax deductible.

Subject: ARRG Update
Dear ARRG Supporter:
For those that are already asking about how they can help ARRG out
financially, we have added a working PayPal credit card link to our ARRG web
site. to allow you to donate.
We have added a special Latest News section and below that, a special
Donation button to the ARRG main page.
The articles posted will help each of you better understand the actual
situation.
It definitely looks like the plan is to try to test out some 4 bay higher
gain dipoles for both the vhf and uhf side.
Please go to www.arrg.org to read more about it all.
For those that asked, Timberline alone will cost from $2000 - $2700 or so.
South Saddle system is in just as bad of shape, with higher and higher stars
showing.
