OK…I was checking during the net, did not hear anything….but we need to test…

So if WV is selected and we transmit on Fusion, the 94 is getting interference correct?

We will need to try it all was…. analog(FM), WV, and NV.

Let’s plan that for the next NET on Tues, as an FYI.. I am net for HiDARG as well that day.

FYI

There are some reports that when the 448.750 Fusion repeater is in operation, it is creating some noise on the 146.940, especially in the wide-voice mode. I heard some of that scratchy noise myself.

Yes…. at 6:45pm on Tues, prior to the normal HiDARG net… just a quick in and out, to check the system etc.

If the digital radio is transmitting VN (voice narrow) your speech is a bit compressed and off pitch.

However others see your distance from the repeater.

If transmitting VW (voice wide) you only see the call sign off the person on your radio if it supports it.

With VW, your voice sounds more natural.

15 mins prior to the regularly scheduled HiDARG net at 7pm a short 15min net will start on the HiDARG

Fusion system repeater on 448.750 - offset no TONE.

Repeater is located on Long Butte and shares the 146.94 antenna.

If you are Fusion capable, please attempt to check in with digital mode set.
