I am sure by now that some of you, if not most of you are sick and tired of
these daily emails for the raffle.

Well that's really to bad...I will stop for 48 hours after this
email...provided I see at least a small uptick in ticket sales.

But Wait There's More........

 

I want to take a moment to thank all the folks in the club that have
purchased tickets and to all of you a hearty "GOOD LUCK".

If you only bought 10 tickets, you still can get 10 more. So how about you
Increase your odds..????

 

As of this email, we have sold 488 tickets for $976.00!!!!!!!  AWESOME
TURNOUT !!!!

This does not include a few donations outside of the raffle to support the
raffle.

 

I have a confession to make...

I did not think we would sell this many tickets so I started with one of the
smaller rolls of tickets that HiDARG has.

This roll started out at 5003300 and ends on 5003999 which means that we
started out with 699 tickets to sell.

With 488 gone already that leaves 211 tickets that in theory can be sold.

Why do I say in theory...well the other rolls I have are Blue and Red in
color.

Which means if we want to sell more than that we have to use one of those
rolls.

I really do not want to mix ticket colors in the drawing "bowl", do
you??????

So unless someone complains...we ONLY HAVE a bit over 200 left to sell.

 

If we can sell at least 100 more tickets, we will have enough to add an
AnyTone AT-D878UV PLUS (DMR folks)

to the list of prizes..Jeff correct me if that is not the one we want to
get!!

 

Anyway HiDARG has recovered our initial investment of $400.00 to get the
first chunk of prizes on order.

Per last Thursdays meeting the extra ticket sales have allowed us to add
many more items to the prize pool. 

Just a side note...Many of those prize packages will arrive this week.

We have a bit left over to spend, so if you would like to see a sweet item
in the prize pool give me a holler.

 

As a note approximately 25% of our active members have entered the raffle.

So that means 75% of you members are not interested or buying their own cool
gear instead.

Times are pretty tough for many of us, so no worries there folks.

 

Just a reminder, the cutoff will be Wed 16th for sales, you can Paypal up to
Midnight on the 16th.

We draw the evening of the 17th with a live video feed from Adams house, and
a net on the 94/HiDARG system.

 

If you want to mail a check, be sure it gets in the mail by Monday 14th

And let me know you have sent it...so that I can get your tickets pulled and
dropped in the jar

On Wed evening I will have a finalized list of all who bought tickets and
what your numbers are.

I have sent most of you the ticket serial numbers you purchased, but if I
missed you, let me know, I have

a spread sheet of who/what tickets have been sold.and who bought them.

 

JUST A NOTE:..NO WORRIES..we are NOT GOING TO be drawing out of this jar. 

We will have a nice large "something" where we can get them truly mixed up.

For now they are securely in this jar to prevent tampering.
