IT is very rare but on occasion a post making members aware of legislation that is affecting many folks may and can be done.

If not sure send to me and ask for it to be posted……..

 

We have posted things in the past about CCR’s, driving rules and what the BLM or USFS might be up to that affects our sites.

I don’t care if someone is for or against this particular legislation, but awareness is key.

Having folks jump in with opinions on the post and appropriateness is when the debates start, and drags it into the political forum.

……… THAT WAS NOT the intent of the post.

The appropriate response is to either ignore the post or follow up with elected officials if relevant to the “READER” of the post.

 

We do not allow debates of political or religious nature or personal “soap boxing” on topics that strays to far from ham related activities.

If this posting felt to you like it was political ……….

Then again that was not the intent, and I do apologize to all list members if your sensitivities to this important subject were affected.

Legislation that affects the safety of our members as well as the public we serve is extremely important, ham related or not.
