[HiDARG-MEMBERS] Kalapuya Crest Trail Run Call for Help SEPT 18th.

I will be staying overnight in Oakridge and doing AID#3 at Timpanogas Lake.

 

We need net control,,, At Crescent Lake Lodge.

 

Race Starts at 6am

 

Aid #1  Paved road except for last ¼ mile east of Spring Campground.

Aid #2  About 3.5miles off of Road 2154 that goes to Timpanogas Lake

           Road circles around the north of Summit Lake 

Aid #3  Timpanogas Lake, same spot that the WHEE run turnaround was staged.

 

I have an RV space reserved at Crescent RV Park that I am going to release

since I have found a great spot in Oakridge. 

So if you want it for Fri / Sat Night let me know
..lets coordinate me
turning it over.

 

 

We are looking for a minimum of four HAM Radio volunteers who are interested
in supporting the event. There are four locations where we would like to
have HAM Radio support: 

1.    Staging area at Crescent Lake Resort lodge for Net Control
(electricity available)

2.    Aid Station 1 at west end of Crescent Lake

3.    Aid Station 2 at Summit Lake Trailhead (high clearance vehicle
necessary)

4.    Aid Station 3 at Timpanogas Lake/June Lake Trailhead

Jim Williams  AA1JW is letting us use the Walker repeater during the event.

I should mention that this is a money maker for HiDARG.
