Yep, but it doesn’t have to be coax or shielded loop. In any case what I
read the dia should be less than one tenth of the wave length. *Recieve* *only,
*lousy* SWR *and low gain. If you're starting from a distance, use a yagi
for triangulation to get within range then switch.
