This is a heads-up email so you can set aside you purchase plans for 2023.

As some of you may or may not know, 

AJ..WA7AJ is moving out of the area, and downsizing from his current QTH on
Revere Ave.

All his equipment, accessories and misc ham Items have been Donated to
HiDarg.

Right now, there are some options to be discussed as to what direction we
take this.

Some of the misc items, and station accessories, etc we can quickly sell or
maybe use in the trailer.

 

Please no replies or input at this time, I think we will get a bit more
organized and get input at the

Thurs Jan 5th meeting, but it is fair to say that this is just a heads up of
some items now belonging to HiDARG.

 

Again, some Options: Not firm and open to others.

1.	If it is decided to sell items, Current HiDARG members would be able
to get first crack at them.

We would price them decently, and at or below current market value.

Members would have to be current with their membership. (FYI some of you
expire on 12/31/22)

 

2.	Put them up for sale on QRZ, or one of the other auction sites. 

 

3.	Hold some kind of fund raising raffle and offer limited tickets
sales at a price to cover what we

would get on the open market.

 

4.	Take to Rickreall and hope someone has the case to pay what the
items are worth. This would require

an extra person to help transport the items, as my truck will be full.

 

5.	Have some items set aside for the Ham Fest Raffle to help entice
folks to buy tables or at least show up.

 

Pro's / Con's with all these of course.

Goal would be to make the best use as either club property, or money in the
club's account.

 

Will send pics in the next emails on these. They will not come in a timely
mannar.
