Good turnout for our Thurs Night meetup. 

Started a few minutes late. 7:06

15 in attendance and about the same amount online as I recall.

Adam KC7NKP gave the finance Report. (Info available on request)

Max KF7MAX gave the membership report. 155 current members.

Please note that of those, about 16 will expire by August.

A PDF of the roster is available to members who are current with dues.

 

Topics:

Balloon Launch:

In anticipation of the test launch of a balloon, a tank of hydrogen will be
procured.

We need to establish several windows of opportunity for the launch.

Weekend with out an event. Weather patterns. Availability of team members.

 

Field Day:

Setup day on Friday  6/24 at Creekside Park in Sisters 2pm. If you wish to
operate your 

own rig be sure to haul it there,  we do need someone to be on site
overnight.

Operations start on Sat at 11am and go until 11am Sunday.

Pot luck on Sat, so be sure to RSVP, and bring you favorite side dish.

Dogs, Hamburgers, buns condiments will be supplied. Will need a grill
master.

Snacks and soda's will be supplied as well. 

 

DC Fair Booth:

Setup Tues 8/2 Operations 8/3 to 8/7  11am to 9pm

Need shifts of folks to work this one. Signup sheet coming soon.

Free admission to the fair.

Anyone putting in at least (TBD) hours will be eligible for a HiDARG shirt.

Looking for folks to put in at least 2hrs on any 2days each.

Or 4 hours on any one day.

Need at least 2 folks in the booth at any one time.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Sitting in  chair, talking to public, rag chew face to face.

 

HDHF: High Desert Ham Fest OCT 1st (GET THIS ON YOUR SCHEDULE)

Time to start gearing up and nailing down who is doing what. 

A motion was passed to "seed" our efforts with $2000 into the HDHF fund.

Need folks to help in one or more areas.

Initial Setup of Tables: Friday AM 9/30  5-8

Load In Crew: 4-5  Fri-5pm-7pm  Sat-6am to 8:30am

Security: 1-3 folks for 2hr or more shifts. Times TBD.

Registration/Tickets Desk: 2 folks for 4hr shifts.  1-2 on Friday

HiDARG Table monitors: 2-3 folks 8:30-3pm

THAT'S JUST for Starters..

Anyway think  about how you can help out and help expose

ham radio events to Central Oregon.
