So the next King of the Castle <https://www.kingofthekastle.com/> SxS race
is coming up on June 4rth. We are usually at our stations at 0800 and leave
no later than 1800.  For those who volunteered for the race in the past we
would love to have you back, and also hoping new volunteers/operators will
throw their hat in the ring for a fun day of racing and radio!

We run 3 checkpoints and a net control.  We like to have 2 people at each
station to account for breaks etc,,for a total of 8 operators.  Please let
me know if you would like to volunteer for the race asap as it's coming up
soon.  The event is a great way to learn how to operate during an event,
provide comms between checkpoints, race staff, participants, and medics.
Set up a remote cross-band repeater, and get to know some of your Ham
community face to face.  You also get a t-shirt or hoodie for your
service!

Please let me know by personal email (not the reflector) if you would like
to volunteer and I'll get you on the list.  Once we have a few volunteers,
I will send out full details pertaining to our portion of the race.
