[HiDARG-MEMBERS] Fair Booth Schedule and helpers needed.

Those members that have done this before, pretty much know the drill.

Those members wanting to help out or not quite familiar...with the
process..here is a summary below.

Please note, that there is not a lot of work to be done...a few of us will
be doing demo's.

Other than that just sitting around, meeting the public, checking the fair
out prior to and after your shift.

Telling tall tales. 

 

Water, soft drinks are always cold, and available as well as some snacks.

Advise you bring a folding chair as we have limited seating.

 

There will always be an experienced member doing the OPEN and CLOSE each
day.

 

In the past members who devoted at least several hours a day over two or
more days get a HIDARG T-SHIRT.

WE will be staying with that similar theme this year as well, Please supply
your shirt size.

 

We have a limited number of FREE tickets to pass out to booth folks, and
HiDARG picks up a few extras

so that we can cover everyone's fair admission. 

We get FULL WEEK passes for those wanting to do at least 3 days as it is
much cheaper for HiDARG to get those than (3) one day passes.

 

Senior passes are much cheaper as well.. so we need a pretty good count of
who needs those.

As a note on Wed. .senior's get in FREE..

 

Folks need to look at the current sheet and figure out the times they want
to man the booth.

Some folks will be needed to man the "Special Event" W7D station, as much as
possible.

This would be in addition to your booth duties... at minimum we need one on
station, and two in the booth.

Otherwise it is hard to coordinate restroom breaks and food breaks.

 

SO with that said. when can you do the booth. Days/Times...?????

Blocks are in Half hour segments. For example if you pick the Wed 10 to 11am
you are picking TWO blocks, 10, and 10:30
Fair closes down at 10pm Wed/Thurs, and 11pm Fri/Sat. we start the close up
process in the booth shortly after NINE to beat the rush out.

If you park inside the grounds, expect a half hour AND more gridlock getting
out around 9:30pm and after.

 

Some of us will park outside the grounds on 9th Street...

1.       IS  the GATE Entrance to the Grounds.

2.       Is 9th Street, I always park here.
