Ok, Max, I think this might be of interest to all: What became of the contest to name everything in the 6 foot square of your ham shack for a grand prize of a new radio? I’m still waiting for a list of winners. 🤔 And the list of stuff I’ve never seen in a ham shack before!

Let’s say I have a radio for sale…. I email the list……looking for sell… 

Someone emails the list saying they will take it…..

At that point 200 emails go back and forth just between those two folks as they haggle on price, where to meet etc…

Have to take the wife to the doc first, etc etc.

 

Any further conversation about cost/how to make the transaction is pretty much useless to 

anyone else on the list…. IE go personnel email at that point IE Simplex, 

 

Emails about work in progress, IE the dipole array, has a number of folks chiming in giving advice that

might be of interest to others….IE where the content is relevant others beside the two doing the emails.

 

Fast and loose……lots of grey area’s no black and white for sure…..just be aware of post content.

Oh crap Max, I don’t have the other persons email, what do I do now???

When going back and forth on topics that are only related to the two folks or three folks involved might be

a good idea to take them to simplex mode rather than include the whole list on each email as you go back & forth.

I am sure we all know by now who has RG 213 hi hi…….

IE reply back to each other and not the list in your discussions……
